FTM Records

Our labels

FTM operates as an A&R satellite; we train and develop our dance producers/composers/writers in the best possible way to succeed on the national and international dance market. Tracks from our producers are released on seven different 12" labels (Shoot the Sun, Altitude (with the sublabels; Altitude Yellow, Altitude Blue), New York Groove, FTM and District, which enables us to release different styles of dance music from groove/garage to progressive-trance. Next to the 'underground-sound', FTM releases commercial crossover vocal dance/pop-records on CD single as well. Strategic co-operations in the Netherlands are;

- Sales & distribution vinyl; Astral Music, EDN
- Sales & distribution CD/DVD; we have several partners, which we choose per project/artist. For e.g. CD singles released in the Benelux FTM has a co-operation with BMG/Sony Music.

Many record companies have released our music. To name a few; EMI/Positiva UK, Sony/BMG UK, Ministry of Sound UK, Universal UK, Ganggo Germany, Kontor Germany, Edel Records Germany, Alphabet City Germany, Vale Spain, Blanco Y Negro Spain, Metropol Spain, Kiss Greece, News Belgium, Central Station Australia, Gallo Africa, Sheer Africa, JVC Japan, Avex Japan, ID&T Holland, Black Hole Recordings Holland. Next to the many companies who released our music, there are many more DJ's who played our music. These are too many to mention separately, but thanks to all of you! An exception for the dance DJ's of BBC Radio 1. You supported us for so long and it really made a difference for our success! Thanks Dave Pearce, Judge Jules and Pete Tong. To name a few supported artists; Sound De-zign, Souvernance, Motivation, Poison Club, Jan Loper and Dynamic Sense.

Since 2001 we have set up other labels as well, but this year we decided to focus the releases on fewer labels. But if you are interested in the music originally released; please check this section for more information. Soon available: digital downloads!
